Recent Concerns
Thursday, March 29th, 2012
  • DOOR TO DOOR SOLICITING:  This is strictly prohibited in our neighborhood.  The Brentwood Police encourage you to not open your doors to these people but in the event you do…PLEASE tell them to leave Princeton Hills immediately or you will call the police.  Purchasing from these solicitations only encourages them to return to the neighborhood.     Most recently, there has been a pick up truck selling steaks out of a special cooler in the back.  It will not be long before the magazine sales will begin.  Due to the close proximity of the schools, it is easy for a student to knock on a few doors before they head home.  If you have students at these schools, please encourage them to contact your neighbors personally by phone to sell to them.
  • SPEEDING AND EXCESSIVE TRAFFIC:  Speeding continues to be one of our biggest concerns on several of our main streets.  Sinclair Circle, Remington and Princeton Hills Drive are heavily traveled by both residents and non residents especially during rush hour.  Please talk with your family and friends about slowing down as they travel through Princeton Hills.
  • LATE NIGHT DOOR KNOCKING PRANKS:  Our neighborhood continues to be plagued by this prank which is quite unnerving.  We suspect that children are the culprits, however one neighbor had two men come to their door after 11:00 pm.  If you have any information about the person (s) who is responsible for these incidents, please call me.  If this happens to you, please call the police immediately.  They have been contacted regarding this situation and are patrolling Princeton Hills more often.  This needs to stop before someone gets hurt.
Neighborhood Sale May 5th
Thursday, March 29th, 2012

From Paulette Walsh: I will be organizing a neighborhood sale for Princeton Hills on Saturday, May 5 from 7:00 am to noon. In past years, we have had 20 to 30 participating households. There will be advertising in The Tennessean, Ms. Cheap, Brentwood Home Page and on Craigslist. There will be large signs at the entrances and signs within the neighborhood about parking on just one side of the street. The Goodwill truck will be parked in the neighborhood from noon to four for you to take your unsold items for donation.

I would like to collect $8.00 from each participating family to pay for the advertising and signs. I will collect that the last week of April. Let me know if you will be participating and clean out those garages and closets!
